Dealing with Difficult Times: Stress Management
MONDAY, 22 FEBRUARY 2010
The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago (TVC) is offering a professional development workshop on stress management on March 3, 2010. This interactive class includes the latest techniques for managing and preventing stress developed by leaders in the field.
Taught by executive coach Jerry Pinney, the session includes tools and resources for de-stressing everyday life, from the workplace to the home. While there’s no meditation involved, attendees will leave with one less thing to stress about, and plenty of tools to help them reduce or even eliminate stress from their lives. This session is ideal for anyone in the non-profit sector or anyone who would like a little less stress in their life.
The fee for this workshop is $30 for TVC member agencies and $60 for non-members. It will take place from 9 a.m. until noon at Forest View Education Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Rd. A free continental breakfast will be served. Seating is limited.
