Stepping Through the Veil Special Halloween

The “Stepping Through the Veil Special Halloween Ceremony” sponsored by the Spiritual Unity Movement (SUM), will be presented at 6:55 p.m., Saturday, October 31, at “The Onion” Sacred Dome 9550 Haskell Ave. in North Hills (near the I-405 and Nordoff). SUM is an all-denominational, non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and celebrating the truth that exists at the heart of all faith traditions.
The guest speaker for this month will be Witch Morgana Kinsley. She was introduced to Wicca at age 7. Her mother told her about Sybil Leek’s "Diary of a Witch" and how witches were nature worshipers who practiced what was believed to be an ancient pagan religion. She intuitively knew this was her right path and has identified herself as a witch ever since. She embarked on a lifelong study of Wicca, mythology, and folklore. Since 1994 she has been teaching Wicca in her local community, including offering classes to teenagers exploring their own spirituality. Morgana will be leading us in a traditional Samhain (Halloween) Wicca Ceremony. Her talk title is Halloween and Wicca: Turning the Wheel of the Year.
The live inspirational music this month will be presented by world-renowned High Priestess Regan. Her music has been featured on Lost, 24, The New World, Munich, Alias, Blade II, and many more. She has released three albums of original works, Sellisternia, an electronic hymn to the Goddess, OakSong, a celtic rock journey back in time, and her latest Faerie Archives: Vol. 1. The “Earth Shift Purification Sweat Lodge” is still being held every 3rd Saturday of each month from 7:00 pm until it is finished at the Living Purpose Institute. Come join for the fun, drumming, chanting and sacred purification with Patrick Harbula, author of “The Magic of the Soul”.
Spiritual Unity Movement also has the “Sunday Salon New Moon Gathering with Rev. Basia Durnas”. The New Moon is a wonderful time to start new projects or breathe new life into existing ones.
