For those who wish to understand and learn the basics of meditation, a five-day course on how to meditate will take place from July 28 to August 1 at the Tushita Meditation Centre.
Located in McLeod Ganj, India, the meditation center is known for its classes and courses on the traditional Tibetan Mahayana practice of Buddhism.
The five-day course includes introduction on meditation, mindfulness meditation, walking and sitting meditation, as well as visualization meditation and mantra recitation. The course will provide useful points on how to go about meditation, and to achieve a peaceful and steady state of mind. Attendees are not allowed to leave the premises during the duration of the course.
