Meditation Teacher Releases CD, Book

Sixty-two-year old Georgina Smith, a meditation teacher, first learned to meditate 20 years ago. Since then, she discovered different other styles. She has also set up her own method of simple meditation that she has been using for five years now.

With more and more requests from her students, Smith decided to produce a CD and an accompanying book entitled "Just Turn Up" to encourage more people to learn the art of meditation in the comfort of their own homes.

Smith said it is important for people to take some time out from their hectic lifestyles and relax. Meditating, she said, relieves people’s stress and anxiety and helps them gain self-esteem. With her CD and book, people will learn how easy it is to meditate and how its benefits are easily felt.
