Zen Buddhism Session to be Held at Nebraska

Zen Buddhist practitioner Doug Dittman will present a breakout session on Zen Buddhist meditation at the Grand Island Multicultural Coalition’s Fall Conference in Nebraska, USA on October 23. His session at the conference will offer guests the chance to participate in a basic, simple Zen Buddhist meditation.
Many Americans are now practicing Zen meditation. Many people, even Christians, incorporate Buddhist-style meditation into their daily lives. Dittman said, "It's a process of being aware and allowing thoughts to come and go." He added that Catholic monasteries in Lincoln and Schuyler integrated meditation into their prayer sessions.
Dittman leads a meditation group every Thursday night at Lincoln’s Unitarian Church.
