Meditating in Classroom Benefits Children
TUESDAY, 30 OCTOBER 2007
Cult director David Lynch is promoting for London children to practice transcendental meditation in their classrooms. Together with Sixties pop star Donovan, they conduct a series of talks in London, UK to encourage students to do meditation techniques. Lynch said, "The technique of transcendental meditation has seen a drop in stabbings, violence, big depressions, suicides and drugs in some of the worst schools in the US you can imagine."
He has donated millions to campaign for this idea and he has already persuaded 20,000 students in America to take transcendental meditation lessons with their teachers twice a day.
