If you find yourself getting distracted while practicing meditation, you should consider some helpful tips released by www.hindustantimes.com.
According to www.hindustantimes.com, it is highly recommended that you meditate with your eyes closed. If you don't, you may easily be distracted by light or movement. You may use also use ear plugs to block the noise. You may also just find a place where there are no distracting sounds or where there's a continuous sound that drowns out all others such as a waterfall.
If you find a smell distracting, you can create a scent that can reduce odors. It will also help bring to mind "devotional exercises" and "uplifted feelings." If any taste lingers in your mouth while you meditate, it will help if you sip pure water. Finally, you should wear comfortable clothing whenever you meditate. It is advisable that you wear warm and light clothing so that you will not shiver or perspire excessively.
