Create your own Meditation Garden
WEDNESDAY, 28 JUNE 2006
By transforming your outdoor area into a meditation garden, you can have a place for relaxation after a hard day's work.
And aside from providing a venue for improving your health and spirituality, a meditation garden also brings beauty to your yard. This was according to a news article by the www.austindailyherald.com.
Vicky Tremble of Austin's Hardy Geranium says in the report that when planning a meditation garden, the senses of sound, smell, and sight should always be considered. She recommends putting lots of greenery, flowers with calming colors, herbs, and even figurines in the meditation garden.
"This is your space to relax in," Trimble says. "Make it yours. Having a table to sit at and read or sip tea will make this area very livable," she adds.
