Visualization is a marvelous technique to back up our health. We create a mental image in which we see ourselves completely healed, healthy, and full of vitality. We can also visualize the healing process. Then we visualize that area of our illness and that every cell gets healthy again and full of strength and vitality. Our mind and our body strongly react to the images that we ourselves create. When visualizing, it is important to experience as many sensations of seeing, feeling, smelling, and tasting as possible. Imagine as many details as possible and use all the possibilities of your imagination. See how a laser beam destroys all your sick cells, see how a team of cleaners cleans up all your organs. Involve people from your social surroundings in your Visualization and see how you feel when you are completely healed and you have achieved your goals. Visualizations have a stronger effect when we combine them with positive affirmations like: I feel healthy, lively, and extremely strong. If you are confronted with doubts or controversial thoughts, do not resist them and let them pass away as you would do with every standard Meditation. With every form of resistance, we give new energy to our doubts and that is the last thing we want to do. You can also do this Visualization at the end of any normal Meditation. As in the case of any Meditation, we try not to judge, not to get angry with ourselves if things do not go so well, and not to be too goal-oriented. Let us begin!
Advance your Health by Visualization Exercise

- Sit down, close your eyes, and direct your attention to your breathing.
- Be aware of every breathing in and breathing out.
- Let your breathing be something automatic and do not try to steer it.
- Observe how the air slowly goes in through your nose, fills up your lungs, and goes out again.
- When, after a few breaths, you really feel at ease, you begin the Visualization.
- With every breath, you feel the positive energy streaming into your lungs.
- When you breathe out, you imagine that all negative feelings about your illness or injury escape from your body together with the air that you breathe out.
- If you like, you can think of specific negative feelings. Do this for about five to ten times.
- When you have got into a very relaxed state, you visualize that your body is healing. Watch every cell grow completely healthy again. Do you feel any reactions in your body?
- Try to involve all your senses. Smell, taste, look, and feel into the smallest details.
- In your imagination, you are now completely healthy and healed.
- Imagine that you can again do anything you like.
- Feel your gladness, see the reactions of other people, and enjoy the moment.
- Think of this image very intensively and keep it fast in your mind.
- Try to appreciate this image in all its details and pay special attention to all the emotions that accompany it.
- Then let go of your Visualization and say to yourself: I am healthy, I am healed, my body now functions perfectly and will continue to do so. I am strong, lively, and full of positive energy. I have no reason at all to be ill and from now on, everything will get better.
- Then slowly take your attention back to the rest of your body and the sounds in the room. Move a little, stretch your muscles a bit, and open your eyes.
