Merkaba Meditation
Merkaba came from an Egyptian word and is made up of three terms: Mer, Ka, and Ba. Mer refers to a specific kind of light and is seen as two counter-rotating fields of light revolving in the same space and is generated under certain breathing. Ka refers to the individual spirit’s interpretation of the particular reality while Ba is usually defined as the body or physical reality. Merkaba is a rotating field of energy that is a positive force through the spirit and the body.
Merkaba Meditation is a way to balance the polarity of life, to reach oneness. It is a powerfully healing, gentle Meditation which teaches one to breathe from the heart and connect to the heart energy. It also focuses on the geometric fields of energy around the human body, spinning at an incredibly high speed.
Merkaba techniques were known to allow a person the magnificent opportunity to feel God's unconditional love everyday. When used in the proper sequence, these techniques cleanse one physically, mentally, and spiritually, while simultaneously expanding one's consciousness. Merkaba Meditation technique starts with a series of long breaths, and on each breath, there are deliberation and concentration on the shapes that the energy will take and the space it will fill. Using a controlled series of breaths and postures, the person who performs Merkaba Meditation techniques will be vulnerable to a world wherein he or she had previously been blind. Things which have been absent will become clearer and obvious.
The leading principle of Merkaba Meditation is to understand not just yourself but the entire universe as well. Through study of the form and purpose of these energy fields, unity is recognized and an understanding is reached. Once they have been recognized, they can be used as tools for healthy reflection.
