Energy Meditation
Are you always busy with work or stressed? Do you feel the need to take a long vacation but you can’t because of too much work? Why don’t you try Energy Meditation?
Energy Meditation is a simple way of meditating spiritually. When we say Energy Meditation, we focus on how everything around us is made up of energy. You can do this whether you are practicing Meditation alone or with a group.
There is much energy around us that we can use to help us liberate our body and mind. When we meditate with a group, for example, the mass energy of the group will somehow transfer to you. You are able to gently focus your attention to that energy and gravitate it towards relaxation and comfort.
According to Chinese tradition, you have your own energy center. It is located in your body four fingers below your navel. Once you are able to locate this, you may be able to meditate and focus on that energy.
Let us begin by picturing everything around you as energy. After that, focus on your own body. Picture it as a form of energy as well. Locate that energy center. If you become distracted, gently return your attention to the energy center and to your breathing. Once you have achieved a balance between yourself and the environment, stay in that state for at least twenty minutes. Then slowly let your mind and body transform back into physical form.
One benefit of this type of spiritual meditation is that we are able to use this in our everyday life. We are able to develop a sense of self-awareness and a higher level of understanding. Moreover, we are able to appreciate life in general.
When it comes to our health, Energy Meditation will help us lower our stress levels, decrease our blood rate and drop our blood pressure. With this type of meditation technique, we are able to lead a healthy body and mind.
