Meditations for RSI and How often should you Meditate

Meditating does not work the way pills do. It is true that relaxation comes straight away, but the other advantages come your way only after some time. You need some patience. How much patience? That depends on your own schedule. As a rule, you can expect the first long term effects on the RSI aches after 3 to 4 weeks of 40 minutes of meditating a day. These 40 minutes should be divided into 2 sessions a day - let us say 1 session of 20 minutes before breakfast and one session before going to bed. This may seem a lot of time at first, but do not give up: it is worth a try.

In general, all concentration exercises and all insight Meditations on our site are suitable for people who want to use Meditation to deal with RSI. Before you start meditating, we advise you to read the articles on what Meditation is, on the right mental and physical position, and on what to do in case of difficulties. This Meditation is also very suitable to be used later on as a base for Meditations of more advanced students. It also helps you to improve your breathing and you can use it as an indicator for stress.
