I am a student, my big problem was I can't concentrate more on my studies...

And I know meditation can help me in this..

What are the things to consider in meditation?

Any reply would appreciated?

I think you should concentrate on the things happened before and realize why did you earn that grades?

Concentrate in the breathing, only that.
Another idea , Try to paint a mandala. it is good for students. and is a type of meditation too.

i think before doing meditation, you should try reflection. :)
reflect on your reasons for not being able to study well..

well I guess the first thing to do is to try finding out what causes your problem.

Throughout the day, when we experience stress, our bodies automatically react in ways that prepare us to fight or run. In some cases of extreme danger, this physical response is helpful. However, a prolonged state of such agitation can cause physical damage to every part of the body. Meditation affects the body in exactly the opposite ways that stress does, restoring the body to a calm state, helping the body to repair itself, and preventing new damage due to the physical effects of stress.Meditation involves sitting in a relaxed position and clearing your mind. You may focus on a sound, like "ooommm," or on your own breathing, or on nothing at all. It’s necessary to have at least 5 to 20 distraction-free minutes to spend. (Longer meditation sessions bring greater benefits, but sometimes starting slowly can help you maintain the practice long-term.) It’s helpful to have silence and privacy, but more practiced meditators can practice medtation anywhere. Many practitioners of meditation attach a spiritual component to it, but it can also be a secular exercise.

For concentration and improvement in studies, you have to do deep breathing.Whenever you get time have deep breathing conciously--go with breath, comeout with it.Whenever unable to concentrate gage at the emptiness/sky,or greenery and have deep breathing.Imagine the entire energy of the Universe entering you through the breath.
Learn some basic pranayam techniques.Pran is the Master-Key.There nothing beyond it.
Write to me,if you want.I try to help students in improving their concentration and grades.
