I want to propose a technique that has to do with rhythmical movement.
As seen on many anthropological studies, many cultures have used rhythmic movement to induce trans like and meditative states.
The reason for that is that the mind can actually get "lost" in the repetitive body movement.
I suggest you try the rocking movement forward and back with the pelvis initializing the movement,
this movement is also great to release any unnecessary muscle load along the spine and helps to awaken the Kundalini energy residing in the base Chakra .
By awakening the Kundalini energy it can start to rise up along the Chakras and revive each of them.
Make sure to connect the movement to your breath.
Try it for a few minutes and then slowly stop and stay seated with no movement and feel the energy running through the Chakras and the mind clear.
I would love to hear your your comments after trying this technique, I find it does wonders !
Namaste,
C.

But you have to do it with full attention and concentration. It is a kind of meditation only. And as you rightly said it is true of all rhythemic jerks/movements,including the ones we use during sex.Have you tried those? Also try the rhythem during jogging.Same effect.
