how do you meditate, with eyes closed or open? I do it half open because I'm afraid I might doze off!

I practice it with my eyes half open and half closed or what others
call it as "lion's meditation", this is quite effective since you'll
get to concentrate fully.

I prefer meditating with my eyes close. Closing your eyes is very important because seeing nothing can give you a chance to really focus on your inner self. Unlike when your eyes are open you see a lotv of things that can cause distractions and take your interest away from your inner self. But then again you have to know what your self prefer. Experience and prferences varies. Try both then decide.

I do it eyes closed to avoid all the distractions. When I started meditation get distracted easily so I shut my eyes so tight sounds funny but it works for me. Try both ways for as many times as possible though to see it for yourself what really works.

either way will do. If you have problem concentrating you should do it eyes closed first. If you are used to the routine already and concentration is not a problem anymore then you could do it eyes open. It all depends on your preference. Both ways will do but it is your body who will decide.

Eyes closed mostly. The only time I keep my eyes open is when I am using a specific object as a source of concentration...like a flower, a candle, etc.

It is just a matter of personal preference.. I would like to do meditation with my eyes close so to avoid all the distractions... but there are times that I really need to open my eyes because when you close your eyes for so long it might feel you so sleepy.

To be honest, any of the two will do just as long as you can focus on
what you're doing. I suggest you try it so you can see what way works
for you!
