Hello to all! I would just want to find out how do you usually de-stress? Is meditation the only way for you to relax? Lately i feel like I am so stressed. Need your suggestions. thanks!

when I'm all stressed out, I go out and unwind with my friends either to watch a movie or just a lunch/dinner date.

Meditation can help you if you are stress because it is relaxing but of course you have to do other things to de-stress your self. You should enjoy and for a day or two just loosen up from all the busy buzz of the corporate world if you are working. Finding time for the leisure of your self is the key.

What types of things do you enjoy doing? Do something that you enjoy. For me it varies: I write, listen to music, cook or bake, clean the house :) When I'm de-stressing my house is spotless! In the summertime, we have this nature trail that I frequent, I call it my secret place...just walk or bike ride...sometimes just sit under a tree...take photographs of things. That's something that I enjoy even when I'm not stressed out.

the best way to destress is to soak in a nice warm bath, listen to jazz and have some wine. a calming massage is also very effective as it relaxes the nerves and soothes the soul.

I try to take a nice bath, coolen my room and then go and snuggle in a warm bed under a great comforter with a book. :)

meditation can be relaxing but you should do other thing to de-stress like talking to friends or going to the cinema to watch movies
