Meditation is one of the basic principle of yoga.Meditation alone can bring us a host of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits. It is one of the key elements to all yoga practice, combining meditative Yoga Poses, Yoga Breath and conscious thought.

Yoga is meant for union of Jivatman(individual soul)with Paramatman(universal soul).But this journey is undertaken step by step.First be physically  and mentally fit,and then move to meeting your inner self,your atman(soul);first correctly recognize  yourself,then only you will know/recognize  God/nature.Ironically,many of us have totally lost touch even with our outerself--innerself is still far away.So first know  and cultivate the body,then emotions,then mind,then move within,and then beyond.
