I agree, meditation is more of listening, your mind is free from anything and you don't listen to the noise surround you, you just simply quiet and listening to the very detailed of God's creation and from the very moment you can hear God's voice whispering in your ears. We are doing this to enlighten our heart and mind free from burdens and stress.
