i love staying by a clear pool, but I'm not really so specific with this subject or should I say I don't spend so much time in looking for a "good spot" I guess any place will do as long as I felt the need to meditate.

my room is a perfect place to meditate, however I do have a question for all of you. Is it really required for us to have just one specific meditation spot? does meditation spots matter?

I haven't try to meditate outside my room.. So, definitely my favorite place to meditate is my room. I feel comfortable with it and I am very much focus in what I am doing.

the best place to meditate is on my roofdeck. it is calm and serene, and it offers me a fantastic view of the city.

for me the best place to meditate is inside your own room during night. I like to meditate in darkness.
It gives me silence and peace of mind.

Hello,
I always love to meditate in the forest, in the cave of mountain and at the sea side.
Calm and soothing atmosphere effects in our mind and body during Meditation. Meditation closed to the nature is always adding extra feelings that help to bring calmness in mind, which is very important for Meditation. But nowadays, it is very difficult for the modern people to get this type of place everyday for Meditation. Previously, Yogi People used to meditate in the forest, in the cave of mountain. They were devoted to that only. They didn’t have family, didn’t have commitments, and a lot of responsibilities. They had a target to achieve Siddhi or Moksha on their way of Yoga Sadhana. Yoga has become popular nowadays, everybody is doing Yogasana & Meidtation. Asana & Pranayama can be practiced in a group in a classroom atmosphere. But Meditation should practice separately and alone in a room without any disturbance. We can learn Meditation techniques from the teacher in a group then later we should develop our own practise. That can be my own bed room, my study room or the prayer room. Atmosphere should be calm and no one or no sounds will be there to destruct our mind. So the time is better always either in the morning 5 to 6 am or at night after 10pm. But there is no hard & first rule for the time; it will again depend on the time available for us.
Thanks...

hi there,
first time on this website, it looks very good
any-way to answer an earlier posting, is it that important to have one place to meditate, in my opinion you don't need one single place to meditate, but it depends how well practiced you are at in and have the ability to meditate anywhere or not, to start off with you are better off having one regular place which you meditate at consistent times and work your schedule around your meditation.
most of the time it is about putting yourself in a meditative mood (if you have a familiar place where you have had lots of successful meditation before it's likely you will meditate better again in that place) and depending what you are wanting to achieve, I would suggest a minimum of 30 mins morning and night preferably dawn and dusk
hope this helps
