Passaddhi, which means peace and tranquillity in Pali, the ancient language spoken at the time of the Buddha, is a small meditation retreat-centre outside Adrigole on the Beara Peninsula in the south-west of Ireland. Passaddhi overlooks Bantry Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, situated on a hillside between Hungry Hill and the Sugarloaf Mountain.
